You've got some neat wood blocks for printing! You put ink on the surface of the characters, print it onto a piece of paper and then I can ask the people I know who speak Japanese and Chinese what it says.

I should add that it may also be Korean. I have a friend who speaks that as well. I would not expect a word-for-word translation, since I would be asking for a favor, but we could get the general idea about it. For anyone that speaks the language should be able to tell the dialect/region from the print block I would think !! There are several dialects spoken there !!

Just got a reply...this is Chinese...and it is a printing block!  Friend says in large cities are great decorator items!!!
