Vintage Bohemian Cut to Clear Vanity Powder Jars?
« on: May 09, 2012, 11:06:08 pm »
I purchased these Vintage Bohemian Cut to Clear Vanity Powder Jars or Trinket Boxes today and can't find any others like them and was looking for additional info on them.

They are about 3 1/4 Inches in Diameter and about 1 3/4 Inches in Height. I think they are Vintage Art Deco from around the 1920's but am not sure and wondered if anyone knew. Also, perhaps a ball park value if anyone would make a suggestion on what they think they may be worth.

Thanks!
Kevin

I don't think it's Boehenian glass. I think it's cut glass. I think it could be a lincoln pattern. Are there circles in the pattern? It looks it. Nice find.

Thanks for the reply greenacres! Yes, those are circles in the pattern. Do Circles in the pattern make them a Lincoln pattern? Also, if that pattern is present then they can't be a Bohemian glass? I've included a better image below to show the pattern.

Thanks!

Yes if the circles are present then it would be the Lincoln pattern which is still valuable. I don't think Boehemian Glass would have that pattern and I don't think they made vanity pieces, but I'll check.

They did make vanity peices but not like yours. Bohemian Glass does have the circles, but seem to be more ornate. I hope it is Lincoln glass because its more valuable. I have a piece with the cicles I'll put up later. It could be just cut glass. I'll keep looking.

There one other possibility Dorflinger. Without a tag it's hard to tell, but those are you candidates.
