Car hood? Tractor hood?

Ok...while clearing out the shed, we found this hood thingy (thats the technical term! ha ha).  We have NO idea what it is?? help. THANK YOU!

It would be a hood for an old car, probably from the late 1920's. What is the size, width and length?

Each panel is appx 28" high. There are four panels (if that's what you call them)...and they are appx 20" in width for the back two and appx 17" on the front two (vented) panels.

You're going to need to count the vent openings and take some measurements, but I think you would find it worthwhile to properly identify it, since there would be a demand for an original hood among antique care collectors.

VERY Cool! Thank you very much!  Looks like it is a 1928-29 Model A hood.  I giggle at the pictures I took...I didn't know I had the hood upside down! ha ha!  I'll list on Craigslist and see what happens...THANK YOU!!
