Trevor, Page & Co Ltd folding desk
« on: May 22, 2012, 03:26:36 pm »
My wife recieved this desk from her grandmother. She really would like to know more about it and its possible value.

Here is all the info I can pull up about it.
Tevor, Page & Co Ltd
Cabinet Makers & Upholsterers
Exchange St, Norwich

Now, to me it looks like the electrical lighting was added later, because the manufacture is European but the patent on the electrical plugin is USA

I would have to assume the electric light was a later addition. As far as the desk itself, on this side of the ocean, the term "Larkin" always comes to mind in regard to those drop-front models.
Here's some interesting information...

Trevor Page and Company is still in business. They were established in 1913, so your desk was made sometime after that. I would contact the company directly, they should be able to identify the date range when your desk was made.
