Ahhhh, Australia!! That's another area where they seem to pop up more, along with the UK. I haven't yet come across any as ornate as yours. I wonder if it was specially made or a very limited design? I'm sure you could find a reputable appraiser who would ensure nothing happened to your watch while in their care.......or one who would appraise while you waited.
I reminds me of one that was made for my late aunt incorporating rubies, diamonds and turquoise (not exactly my choice of combination). She found it too 'busy' and had the entire bracelet part replaced and the turquoise removed from the setting where it had originally joined the bracelet. While it was a bit over done considering her taste it was a shame to see it so altered.
