My husband these home today. I'm already in love with. I ready to rip of two doors. The shutter knobs are neat too. The other thing is a keyhole to a mortice lock ?? A key hole frame?#*#! It's driving us crazy what's the name of that?

Those door knobs also make neat walking cane heads.

great idea! I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet. I was checking ebay to see what was happening.

If you can identify where the knobs came from and what building it doesn't hurt to divulge this if you decide to run them on Ebay.  I bought the one shown and made a cane, it was supposed to come from a public school in Philadelphia where someone famous went to school.  I've forgotten who now.  I put three or four ounces of lead bird shot in the door knob, so now when I walk thru the valley of death I fear no evil because I'm the evilest so-and-so in the valley.

I know exactly where they came from. The part of Philadelphia called "Northern Liberties". It's right near the Delaware.

These crystal knobs are very popular these days for drapery tiebacks, display, reworked into coat hooks, etc....
