Hey furniture folk, where would I get cotton to pad the sofa? I do not want fiberfill or foam.

Try using quilt batting !!  I think you can still get it in cotton !!

Maybe that can be ordered. I know the fabric stores only carry fiberfill and foam.

Yeah I was thinking natural "raw" cotton if that is the right terminology.

The larger fabric stores can get the cotton batting for you!  Or look up a quilting store to see if it will be cheaper than online and shipping!

I love it tales, it's beautiful! That's awesome if it really is 1850s, I was thinking closer to the 1870s, so I was a bit off. Can't wait to see it done! Will you come do mine next?
