What are these called?
« on: August 12, 2012, 03:30:03 pm »
Ok I have 2 more items - vintage I believe - sorry not cleaned up yet. I can do the research but can't figure out what to call them.

The first I know is for tea bags - made in Japan but when I google I get "tea tongs" or if I put in "tea bag squeezer" I get tupperware  LOL  Is there another name?

The 2nd item I know is for coffee or tea - lord knows I can't quite figure it all out but the glass is almost like a beaker - says heat resistant - the number 12 and it was made in france.  Again I have no idea what to call this in order to start the search   ???

Thanks to everyone always.

Tea ball or tea infuser.  French press coffee maker. Neither are antiques.

I thought maybe vintage KC at least with the tea infuser thing - the coffee press actually looked vintage to me at first but I have googled and know they are more current.  Thanks   ;D

Sorry Kidden6968.  Tea items are highly collectible - however, they are generally silver items.

Oh it's ok - I have so much stuff to still go through and I either just give it away or put it out for trash or I learn and sell it for a few dollars.  I am having a ball either way although would have been great if they were silver   :o
