i could not find any reference to this mark either !!  base did not look like any of the henry bronze pieces but was similar in style !! yet it is signed so do you think repro or just plain old fake ??

Update: brought the piece to Christies Auctions... have a friend that works there... who directed me to someone who can help. So this is a reproduction, however, apparently a really "good" reproduction. What also made me question the piece is the fact that it doesnt show much age. Anyway, for $25... I was advised that this was a good buy even though its a reproduction, they too can  be pricey. Thanks for all the assistance from here

this was a really confusing piece !! but a nice end !!  i would have bought it at that price !!
