Antique? Poker Table Brush
« on: September 02, 2012, 09:05:28 pm »
I know that this is a poker table brush, but I am wondering is anyone could tell me possible age and price range... Also any thoughts on bristle type. Boar perhaps?

7" wide
Bristle to top 2 1/2"

As always, Thanks everyone!

No clue as to value, but - as the English say - I think you've sussed out the rest!

Very interesting item. I've never seen one before!

Well i spike with my brother, who is seasoned poker player and he had this to say:

"Back in the day the guy that took you to your table in a poker room was referred to as a "brush" he would take to your seat and brush off the felt on the table so it was clean for a the new player. Wouldn't be surprised if this was something they would give to floorman assigned to that job."

But, still unsure of the information above...

I hope that everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day.
