That is pretty fancy talking to get that built. It's to funny. Who would have thought Zappa fans there! He was a genius, "My neighbor practices in his garage with his band, his name is Joe, and they only know one song".

...And it comes back to collectibles again.

If your husband still has the Verve label Mothers albums, those are woth quite a pretty penny. $50.00 apiece and more, even back in the 80s.

Other names for the Starfighter....Wido wmaker and Jinx Jet.  Bad news!

Captain Beefheart, RIP. A true American genius! "A squid eating dough out of a polyethelene bag is fast and bulbous....got me?"

Hmmm, that link came back as a "Bad Title."

Heck yeah, Hipgnosis and Roger Dean = best covers of the 70s, or any era really.

I had the original foldout cover of 'Never Never Land.' Such a great album. Twink claimed it as the first space rock album; don't know about that. "Uncle Harry's Last Freakout" - a classic tune!

Oh, and the lyrics? 'Willie the Pimp' from Zappa's 'Hot Rats.' Still probably his best album. I saw him do 'Peaches in Regalia.'

Uncle harry,s last Freakout is on Never ,Never Land..the sleave cover i have shows 4 fairies sitting on the moon and when the inner sleave is moved..the joints in their hand move as well..another great track is..."The Dream is just begining".....manic music i call it....I saw them in London....the did an impromptu free, gig on the back of an artic flatbed.truck on a Saturday afternoon...under the North circular motorway near Ladbrook Grove Tube station...and Black Cannabis was only £5 per 1/2oz....and beer was 8pts for a £1...those were the days.....

Yeah, the original "Never Never Land" cover was a foldout inside a plastic sleeve; very had to come by now.

Evidently those early Fairies shows were The Bomb!!  I wish I had been around at that place and time. Ladbroke Grove! Friendz magazine! UP the Pinks!

Psygnosis was the software company that began in 1985. Dean did some of the artwork for the games. The classic Dean covers predated that, of course. And yes, I realize that Dean was not part of Hipgnosis, which included Peter Christopherson and, I think, Storm Thorgenson.

Yeah Friendz...and the Freak Brothers...stoned.. .reading them, then there was Up in Smoke with Cheech & Chong...and Murray Roman..... ;D
