« on: September 03, 2012, 04:28:59 pm »
I got this signed print for my 50th..it was done by a Canadian artist...its his interpretation of Mt Doom...from Tolkiens Lord of the Rings,my oldest daughter bought it when she was in Canada, from what i can remember it was a limited edition of 2000 copies world wide, and it was never to be repeated
I make no excuses,and no apologies....but i like a good Malt,

It was bought in Canada...the signature looks like Ochilly with the scroll of the y carrying through to the 90..then to the right of the signature..there is a circle with a capital A inside it and 1984..this must be the date of the original painting...or perhaps its the issue number..i,ll try and take a better pic of the signature in daylight...now its time for bed...
Avril is on holiday..and we are off to Anstruther tomorrow...famous for its Fish & chips, then we,ll go to Crail...fresh lobster and crab then to St Andrews on the way home...for the best ice cream on this side of the planet...then i,ll wash it all down with a Pepsi Max...you,re not the only one......the only difference being...mines stay where its supposed to stay.....night night,,
