KT & K doll dishes

Hi,
 I'm new to the forum. I'm wondering how to find the value of some very tiny dishes from my great-grandmother or where to look it up. They are white, crazed doll dishes/ 18 piece tea set. Tea pot, sugar bowl?, 6 plates(3 with a little stain), 6 saucers, 4 tea cups(1 w/chip, and crack). They all say(except tea cups) KT & K on the bottom and it's underlined.

K T & K stands for Knowles Taylor & Knowles - great pottery/china maker.  The company started in 1880's in Liverpoole, even expanded to USA and closed it's doors in 1931.

Would need to see pics of your set!

They made many different kinds of pieces:  yelloware, stoneware, Lotus Ware, etc.

The tea set I believe is China not porcelain (not translucent). The glaze is sort of a crackle. I haven't been able to find anything like it on line. I'd like to know what year it was produced. I guess I'll have to buy a price guide?? Heather

We never said that your Tea set is porcelain....????...where did you get that idea....

I didn't mean that anyone thought it was porcelain. I just meant I was trying to discern what material it was, either stoneware, china, porcelain and I thought to my amateur eyes that it couldn't be porcelain. Thanks, Heather
