I've moved on to some wine cooler tonight and am being especially careful. Watch out for my typing though........I'm already doing a lot of backtracking and editing.  ;D

you wanna try doing it with one finger...that sometimes has a life of its own....a little tip for you...where you can enjoy the best of both worlds....take 50% fat Pepsi and 50% cheap red plonk...pour into a pint glass add some ice cubes...then after 1st pint..try backtracking and editing.....i,ve put myself in the mood for a 50/50 now....but i. don.t have any skinny Pepsi....drat!
I make no excuses,and no apologies....but i like a good Malt,

I, myself, and enjoying a lovely Spanish wine and enjoying the visit with my new cyber friends!

Thanks all of you for all your help.  Perhaps someday I can help you!

I looked up Plonk and found this cute picture with the caption "wine in stemware befitting plonk"  Had to chuckle.

We call those "Ball or Mason" jars too. You can wash them out and fill them with "Plonk" and get a straw and your all set!

Don't know about where you are but mason jars have made a big comeback here............... .as a replacement for centerpiece vases. So if anyone ever asks you to attend a redneck or county style wedding, don't be shocked to see something like this .................

In the early fifties...these were known as jeely jars...and in the late 40,s...if you took one along to the cinema on a Saturday morning...for the matinee...you handed over your jeely jar as payment.....

Speaking of our heritage.
My GGMother came directly over here from County Cork. I remember her always busy working on knitting "muttens".

On the other hand, my Dad couldn't speak English when he started school...but he was fluent in Hungarian. Kinda like breeding chickens...I was the "Outcrop" result!
Mine was born in County Limerick and married my G-Grandfather from County Cork.  I never knew her but posted her "traveling icon" of the Virgin Mary sometime back.  She was from a small town called Kilmeady.
