Pink Glass Candy Dish
« on: September 21, 2012, 02:02:46 pm »
I'd like to know What company made this 6.5" tall (at the lid handle) and what pattern it is. It has milk glass flashing around the top edge. Any idea how old it is?

Look's like a piece of Fenton w/o the paper sticker...

Compare this one:

Agree Rauville  Nice find The piece is by Fenton, the labels on the piece at the link you gave place the date from 1982-1985.  debodun The white flashing you mentioned is what is called Opalescent glass. Try searching Fenton Opalescent covered candy  to see if you can find a pattern name. Mart post photos of your candy dish as Fenton was not the only maker of Opalescent glass so info on this piece will have nothing to do with your piece. ;)  So far this is the only one I have found http://www.replacements.com/webquote/FENPEAC.htm

Thanks for all the useful info, guys. I thought it was an antique, but if Fenton, probably only a few decades old. There is a mark I didn't notice before in the center of the bottom:
