More help please???
« on: September 25, 2012, 10:28:57 am »
Hello again  ;D.  Okay... attached please find more items of which my husband, myself, nor any other collectable book or on-line site has been able to help us with.  I thought I'd try my luck with you.  Please see attachments.  P.S.  Not that this makes any difference, but the pieces that I've attached initially belonged to my husband's great uncle who was a jeweler in Chicago.

The photos really do not do these pieces justice.  I should have sent better pics.  Thanks for your help and will check into Fenton.

Kc yes this piece will glow under black light due to uranium I can tell by the photos , need nice clear photos of the gold encrusted edge to be able to give you any info. Cogar you are correct this is not Fenton  ;) This what is called a whipped cream set or mayonnaise set , Beautiful piece of Elegant Depression Glass (My favorite to collect) Jewelery stores are where this type of Elegant glass was sold and was done with real gold.

Thank you so much Sapphire  :D  but I need some really clear close up shots to see every little detail. The OP will need to do them.

To all who have been so very helpful.  Attached are some better (I hope) photographs.  Again, thank you so very much for your assistance!  ;D  ;D  Additionally, the following are the dimensions:  "Plate":  8" in diamter and 1/2" from bottom to top of "plate", "Bowl" is 7" in diameter and approximately 3 3/4" from bottom to top, and the ladle "bowl" is 5" in length and 1 7/8"
