This isn't an "antique" question, but you all are so "worldly" - in a good way! 

Do any of you know if this is a real statue or simply a Hollywood creation. 

A good friend of mine (who mentors me with my stained glass work), is wanting to create the gargoyle half of the statue but we need the feet of the statue!

Thanks, Wendy!  Peggy will love it!  She has some very special glass picked out to use in this piece (and she is so talented she makes me sick  ;)).

Actually no, hadn't heard of shortening ones, frogpatch!  I personally haven't posted some links in the past because they were so doggone long like this one.  Going to go search this out.....
