But ebay has things like Buyer Protection in place. Classified ads do not.
Take every price I say with a grain of salt...

I got an email back from the seller. This is one of the photos of the football. I asked if the signatures were faded and he replied saying that's how they came.

Its a nice looking piece....but i.don,t think its worth 2k.....but then i don,t know too much about them egg shaped balls, that you call footballs......bigg est misnomer... if ever there was one,....if it was a proper football,...a round one....then it might be worth £ 200.....depending on who,s signatures are on it....but...if you,are only trading some of your goods,..ask yourself.."how much are my goods worth"....then offset their worth against the 2k that the guy says his balls  worth...then ask yourself...why is he giving me an item thats worth 2k....for my goods that are worth less....because after all... 2nd hand PS2/3,s etc ...are worth very little.......
I make no excuses,and no apologies....but i like a good Malt,

Michael, who's signatures are on it?  Can't read the plaque.

Buyer beware!  Signed football scams are more common than you think.

What person would have a 2k football and trade it for used games when they could sell it?  Even if it is an authentic ball....who would do that versus selling it?  Could be stolen as well.

The thing that's not setting right with me is the Coca Cola Zero. Obviously a promo deal....... definitely not a game ball or even remotely resembling one. The players all appear to be older (as in my age) and I have yet to come across any reference to another signed ball or even the mention of this 'elite' group getting together and signing anything. Doesn't appear to have any NFL/AFL affiliation other than a group of ex players. Hence the interest in exactly 'who' they are.

Too many red flags for me......but I'm overly cautious.

Good chance that these balls were signed by each of the players. I believe that. But I highly doubt that they were all in the same room at once. Everytime I see one of these "rare" pieces this picture comes to mind...
