Toothpick Holder
« on: September 29, 2012, 08:55:13 pm »
I found this little toothpick holder the other day.  I found it on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Amber-and-Red-Glass-Toothpick-Holder-with-Eagle-Design-/370658410408?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item564cf67fa8) but I think mine is prettier  ;)  I think there is more reddish orange and the color is richer.  It also seems to have one, small, vertical line (or I guess horizontal line depending on which way you turn it)  Anyway, I am discovering that "vintage" is used to refer to anything that is around my age (tee-hee).  Any ideas when this was made and by whom?  I am sure it was fairly common, but I think I have been bitten by the "glass bug."
