Copper fireplace antique identification

Found it in my fathers junk collection he passed away. Can anyone tell me what that is and if it's worth anything?

It was filled with hot embers from the fire and placed under the blankets of your bed an hour or so before retiring

Check ebay and see what they are selling for !! If copper it should do well !!

Good price on that one in the E-Bay link. I would have thought about $50.00.

Right! That's why I said the one in the link was such a good price. Around here I've seen them for $50.00.

Sometime,s I wonder about me....i can be so quick on the uptake....then there are other times when..it takes a sack of pennies before one eventually drops....but on the other hand....had you said at the beginning, that from a buyers point...then...i would,nt have needed a sack of pennies.... ;D
