Antique Shop Watercolor
« on: October 13, 2012, 03:15:40 pm »
Found this watercolor while searching yard sales.  It has Caswell Fine Art, Somersville, CT 06072 on back. Looks like Youmatz for signature. Not antique but antique related. Any Value?

I think I've found your artist.

The Gilbert School, Winsted CT (photo 1)

Watercolor of the same school, by alumni Gloria B. Youmatz (photo 2)

I'm thinking the 'B' is either a typo or represents her maiden name.

Just relying on my standard recipe......

2L pepsi
2 chocolate bars (Mars of course)
1 pack of smokes (rolled preferably)
fistful (give or take)  acetaminophen with codeine

Guaranteed to keep you running till you crash.  ;)

Will definitely need that and more tomorrow.......have to drag my butt out of bed in the wee hours to haul my daughter to the airport and send her on her way home.  :(
