My daughter went to college in Staten Island for a year. To think that it has been so devastated is hard to believe. It looks like a 3rd world country in some of these areas. It shows how quickly things can fall apart. One minute your living your comfortable life, and the next day your waiting two and half hours for gas, no diapers for their babies,and no heat for them and it's getting really cold. It's hard to watch the local news.
