Thanks mart. It's been raining all day and winds are starting to kick in now. Boy, those trees get scary. We have our generator ready with flashlights and candles need be. I'm so glad we sold our shore place this year. It's so bad there.

I am waiting to hear from Frogpatch !! I PM`d him earlier,, he is not far from the Jersey shore !!  He said he was on high ground but thats still a bad area !!  Just keep in touch when you can everyone !!

Jersey Shore has been evacuated, mart. Thing are to bad there.

Upstate NY still ok at the moment.  Wind started picking up about 2 hours ago - the worst is yet to come.  I pray that everyone stays safe through this storm.  Worrying about those closer to NYC and NJ and hope everyone has taken precautions.  I will check back in later.

Glad to see almost all are checking in.  So unusual for the storms their way....we get used to it huh Mart?  My brother who who works at Pentagon had to leave also.

Have a friend who is a pastor NYC and works with homeless ministry who posted these earlier.
One of the Electric Company park lot under water (Con Ed parking lot flooded - 1 sec exposure in the dark - Ave C flooded above cars) and the other is the flash before the power plant blew up because of water.
