Could be a different brand using a similar pattern/style. Could be an imitation. But pictures would really mean the difference on this one. Any marks on it at all?

I'm so far behind the porcelain/ceramic folk here it's sad, but with just a quick look I'm seeing a lot of color run and unevenness. First impression for me was 'craft' work.........as in my long ago attempts at painting greenware.

Well when I brought it the face had been painted over in another colour so this would of acted as a protector, maybe that's why its not dull

Look below where the scarf drops down,, below the ruffled collar and blended into it is some lettering !!  Looks like Sor,, something !!  The top of the S is in the ruffle,, !!  Is that where the name is located ??  Second pic here !!
Is this the same jug you were looking at before ??

Mart, I think that's S-i-m-  o (in grey/brown)...... so assuming it's part of Simon the Cellarer

Here is a marked Royal Doulton, small version (3.25 in)

I am afraid I would have to agree on it being a reproduction from what I see !!  Not sure of the size,, this one looks very big from the pics !! According to what I have read these were only produced in two sizes,, 3 1/2 and 6 1/2 or there about !! If this is the same one you looked at earlier,, did the seller have a pic of the RD mark ??
