I bought a piece of boat- shape silverplate with mark of 1847 rogers bros 00605 at the bottom and special engravement on the upper sidewith mark of FA just curious about the value,Thanks

     Would have to have a picture to place a value on the item.  First most silver plate item don't have much value.  The 1847 Rogers hallmark is not the year it was made as a side note.  1847 Rogers hallmark is made by International silver and was used between the late 1800's until now.  Again would have to have a picture to get the pattern and year, then could place value.
