seeing as how the neck of the pare wee coffee pot..is a bit narrow...i,d like tae see you get that muckle Last... intae that wee hole...bearing in mind if the dent is ower far doon then that shoe Last isnae gonna dae you much guid....apart fae maybe..gie you a nither dent smewhaur else...when you try tae get it oot... ;D

I have some small tools and a nice place where the cantle curves upward on my saddle that would be perfect !!

I should have paid more attention, inside the lid is very shiney like silver plate. I couldn't get a picture of the bottom because of reflection. There is scraping through some of the markings. What I can make out with the magnifier is: MF D&P scratch marks BY second line is REED scratch ON third line is 3392 fourth line is 7. I also noted the inside of the spout is a strainer.  Is this of any help? To bad it was scratched.

Wullie, that is how I became "more" knowledgeable...by the school of hard knocks!  LOLOL   Was impatient and "it only needed to be bent a little bit!"  as the old story goes!  :)

I,ve been there KC...similar circumstances..just a different medium....a few years ago i was rebuilding an old motorcycle...i had been restoring it for nigh on a year,and was just finishing it off,...i was tightening the cylinder head bolts,and ....it happened....one turn too many...as this is a G rated forum..i will refrain from...saying what came out of my mouth...suffice to say....the air was blue.....moral of the story being...use the right tools for the job...and never think you know best.... :D
