I need some information on this pin/medal.
My great uncle left me a box. Inside of the box, there is a smaller box.
The small box is green and red swede on the inside, with a circle patch that reads "THE M.C. LILLEY & CO COLUMBUS OHIO MANUFACTURERS OF MILITARY AND SOCIETY GOODS".
Inside of this smaller box, there is a medal/pin...the front of the pin reads "FREDERICK FARMER BEE" and the back reads "Presented By STORY LODGE No4.A.F AND A.M. TO F.F. BEE P.M. Nov. 19TH 1895". The bottom of the medal is marked "COIN".
Underneath the small box, there was a small leather pouch. Inside of the leather pouch were two pieces of paper. The smaller piece has cursive handwriting that is hard to make out, but I can definitely make out "F.F. Bee" and the word "Provo". There is also a stamp on this smaller paper that reads "RAWLINS".
The larger piece of paper reads "STATE INSANE ASYLUM AT AGNEWS" "This is to certify that FF Bee was discharged from this Asylum on the 19 day of July A.D. 1896" The paper is signed by a medical director and dated 1896 (189 is printed, but the 6 is filled in with pen).
PICTURES - You can use these as a reference, but I'll apologize in advance for the quality, my camera is a potato. At least you can make out the shape.
