Thank you, ....... and I probably should have told you that she had lready looked thru every one of her Pattern Glass books with no luck, ....... and a zillion PG patterns on the Internet and still no luck.
She even took it over to the
WV Glass Museum at Weston (20 miles from here) and no one there knew ..... but told her they would look.
They were half-successful ...... and mailed her "copies" of E-mails they received from someone, but they were of a goblet (
see pic below) with the same "Chevron" but a differen pattern.
Included was a "copy" of a title page from whence the goblet was listed:
AMERICAN AND CANADIAN GOBLETS
volume two
Doris and Peter Unitt
You can cee the
Daisy in the bottom of the tumbler, ... thus "
Daisy with Chevron", ..... but her stand has
no Daisy ...... but
a different pattern on the base.
And the pattern on the base is what has her
frustrated, ..... which always happens when she can't find a name for a piece of glass she has.
So, until we find the correct name it's just a "
Chevron Pedistal" cake stand or a "
Chevron and ???xx???" cake stand.
