I would suggest, as a new collector,, you join in the conversations and become a part of our forum !!  The personal attention to our members both old and new is what keeps this forum at the top of the search list !!  You don`t need a personal invitation,, we welcome all,, even if its about the weather !!  Please post anything you may have that you need help with,,but if we do not get on it immediately,, don`t think we aren`t researching it !!
If the item could be found easily,, you would not need us to help,, so do give it a day or so !!

I think it was Henry Ward Beecher that said: "Good humor makes all things tolerable".

That's what I like about this group. You get more than just information...you can get a smile too! ;D

Sorry I'm still a newbie, but this is getting ridiculous. I appreciate all the help I've received for my items, but if I wanted to know the weather I would watch the weather network. My point being if one was to post an ANTIQUE question it had already fallen down list. No disrespect. Hoping the moderator doesn't oust me for this. (Probably made it worse didn't I)
.... ::)....this is me being polite.....your,lucky i was,nt feeling too well yesterday.........b ut you know the old saying.....if you don,t like it...you can lump it.....
I make no excuses,and no apologies....but i like a good Malt,

Whoops, so sorry Buddie....I didn't mean to pull everyone off the subject!  It really has been fun, super informative and I am sorry if they missed posting information you may have needed!
I just really was hoping to get a little information on the chest...but these folks here are super knowledgeable and I am very grateful!

The humor here is priceless, I feel like I made some new friends!  This is the only piece I have that I just had no clue about so I am pretty sure
this will be the last "epic" debate I start!

Thanks and hugs to all!

Sorry again, but on the bright side hockey is back. (I'm Canadian). Hockey in Canada is like soccer or "football" in Europe.

Not quit sure if that was a stab or not bigwull, most likely because us all Canadians are always hopped up on molson Canadian beer and back bacon. That's good stuff eh?

Bigwull you seem like quite the character, if I am ever on your side of the pond, maybe we could sit down and have drink. I will have a warm guiness and you will have your scotch. Happy happy!
