Antique China - Having a hard time finding information and value

Hello, first post here, looking for some help from the experts!

My Mother has asked for some help in selling some of her antique China, all she knows is that some of it is Dresden.

I'm having a heck of a time finding information on it, so any help in identifying the sets and their values would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not the expert you're looking for, but I can tell you that the "blue glass" is Caprice by Cambridge Glass Co.

On your first group of pictures - the bird plates - the S & M Mark is for Bawo & Dotter (Elite Works)  NOTE:  Game bird plates were very popular during the time frame that this mark coincides with. 
Limoges, France  Overglaze decorating house mark used by Bawo & Dotter.

"The mark shown here was used from 1896-1900. A very similar mark with Limoges in block letters and France was used from 1920-1932. This mark without France and Limoges in block letters dates to the 1880s."  I believe ll of the bird plates were imported by Bawo & Dotter...and possible the MF&Co is for Marshall Fields & Company (they imported lots of porcelain/china and possibly did through B&D).  The Elite L France (Limoge France) was also a mark used by B&D.

Yours is missing the lid.  Need dimensions of piece to locate it on Replacements.

All 20th century manufactured, designed to look older. The oldest item appears to be the Jaeger and Co jug, probably about 1915.

zhoenixx, if you have looked up all the information given you above, you would be able to note "dates made/manufactured" for the pottery marks.

Ipcress, the first batch of pics has a mark for Bawo & Dotter which dates it 1896 - 1900.

As for the rest, agree they date to 1900's.  The pitcher's mark was used 1898 to 1923; the style resembles the early 1900's even tho it can't be specifically pinpointed by mark.

I wouldn't trust those Limoges marks one bit. And anyway, they are a dated design and worth little.


The quality just isn't there and the birds appear to have been drawn by a child.
