CWI Lapel Pin
« on: January 03, 2013, 08:00:00 pm »
I have a lapel pin that has CWI on the front and it was part of my grandmother's things that were passed down to me after she died. I want to find out more about it and would greatly appreciate any history behind this item.

One like yours with another version

This one says CWBC is Credit Women's Breakfast Club

Another one as with the one like yours - to try and give hints this one states it is from a High School in 1943

Another version from an estate

There was a group called Credit Women's International!  Not sure..but seems it could be!

Can you give some background on her.  Was she a teacher?  Active in the war?  In a service organization?
