Antique Wall Plates from Bavaria and Austria

I have a dog plate from Bavaria with code of what looks like Z S &C& or as close as I can make out.  The woman plate is more decorative and the face and bust is in the center with blue small flowers and leaves around the edges.  The marking on that one is Victoria Austria with what looks like a crown in the middle of the two words.
Does anyone know anything about these plates.  I believe they either came from my great grandmother or great great grandmother.   My great great grandmother was born in Germany.

Thank you for any help you can provide.  My great grandmother was born in this country and she died at 86 in 1946.I think that would make her 144 years old.  If it was my great great grandmother's plates, then they would be older than that.

sounds like the portrait plate is there - values vary - is it a transfer design?  with some hand-painting? artist signed on the front, under the design?

off-hand, I don't recognize the Z S & C & ?

That's Z S & Co. : "Porzellanfabrik Zeh, Scherzer & Co.", founded 1880 in Rehau (Bavaria) ...

chris is right. that plate could go a couple hundred dollars.

KB is correct you will probably find your Victoria mark on my Web site with the date he mark was used.  If you don't you can send me good close-up of the mark and I will try to date it.  It is a Bohemian factory.  

Beware of "signatures" on the front of pieces.  Often it is the name of the artist after whom a painting was copied.

Oh yeah, real small.  One must always be on their best behavior because you never know who is around the corner.

I haven't seen you on the other board for a while.  I have been trying to stay away from there.  I now go over and search for Czech, Bohemia, etc and dive back out - well that's the goal any way.
