Queen anne salt and pepper shakers

Hey I found these Queen Anne salt and pepper shaker set and don't have a year to go with them. What do you guys know about them.

Check this out... Probably at least 200 years old based on the amount of garbage that was in the dumpster around it.

I can't read the bottom mark. I see Queen Anne but thats all I can read. They look like silverplate from what I can see.

I thought they might have been silver plate but they are a lot heavier and just feel like quality. Figured I took a risk on them at a flea market for $5. I don't know much about silver plate except usually worthless.

My guess is the style is Queen Anne, followed by their pattern number and the makers mark above " since 1715 "

I would agree with that !!  Sterling would be marked,,, silverplate,, not necessarily !!  Since you said Flea Market I assume you are in the U.S. !! Most inexpensive silverplate would be marked in a similar way !!  If they are heavy its likely white metal base !!  Can you take a pic of the bottom tomorrow in sunlight so we can see it ??

There's another pair for George IV.

Appears the company has marked items as MASCO and " Old English Since 1775 "

Plated and worth about £5

Quick update last set sold for over $108 ... the pair before that claimed sterling silver... Just tested with acid and burned a dark red mark. Does anyone think any differenly about these. This was one of my first posts on here

MASCO created home furnishings from 1986 to 1996!

White metal!  Would be marked STERLING or EP of EPNS, etc if silver.
