Hello,has anyone seen this pattern?
« on: February 04, 2013, 12:21:23 pm »
I have recently inherited an American Limoges china set and know nothing about it. I have searched the internet for many hours using the info from the back of the plate and could not even find a picture of it let alone any info as far as year and value. Any information or links would be appreciated.

your piece was made in Sebring - Ohio late 30s to early 50s, also made in white you have the Burgundy , It is a decal made in Amsterdam, Holland of a painting done by a famous French painter Jean Honore Fragonard called Love Seat  Value around $10.00 - $20.00

This site will give you lots of info on the family and company history!  :D

The Fragonard stuff is repro'd everywhere. I've even seen it on porcelain insets in furniture

Limoges is generally mass produced cheap stuff masquerading as continental porcelain. Bit like " Royal Vienna "
