Can someone tell me anything about this

I picked this up at a garage sale and I'm not sure what it is I asked the lady selling it if she knew anything about it but all she said is that it was her fathers so I have no idea.its in a frame and the back is glued and I don't want to rip it off

This is an Arabian Dagger...see similar image..it can be quite old..or it could have been made yesterday...the design has,nt changed much over the last 2/300 years..but i,d say this one might be early 1900,s....if it has any silver mounts on the scabbard..then value..can be quite high..if otherwise....don,t give up your day job just yet...

Is that really you and not an old post or ghost of old Wullie? It's not the 16th yet! mart said you wouldn't be till the 16th. Missed your humor, and it's been quiet without you! ;D
