sigula posted in the wrong place. He wanted know about his chicken coop. Hopefully he'll see this and write the rest. He inherited a farm last year after he returned from the service.

Not an antique but with country and city folk getting into backyard chickens,, selling it should be no problem !!  How big is it ??  Might even make a country style wine rack with a bit of alteration !!  That would be a neat selling point !!  Former hens nest,, now repurposed wine rack !!
And welcome to the group !!

with the size of them holes ..yer standard bottle plonk is going to be lost...you,d need to stick in Methuselahs..which are aprox 8/10in at the base....and hold the equivalence of 8 bottles....Lots of Money.... ;D

Holes are generally smaller than they look !!  For country style,, doesn`t have to be perfect !!  Thats the charm of it !!

When is a small hole not a small hole...when its a big hole....and they are big holes...how else would a fat arsed chicken get in if it was,nt a big hole...a 750ml plonk bottle is 4in in dia at the base....they,d have to be Chinese Quails to fit wee holes....these holes are big...take my word for it.... ;D

I have no doubt, before i was a city gent...I too was brought up on a farm in the 50,s where i watched my late father..cook a hedgehog in a ball of clay that he put in a fire pit...yummy..but at no time did he have to go around stuffing the chickens in holes that were a tad too small...mind you you could always stick its head in then whack it in the arse with a mallet...then it would,nt matter how small the hole was... ;D
