They only knew what they where telling me. Which wasn't much. 

They had nothing to back-up what they where asking for the vases.

So I took a pass  ;)

From your image your vases look like they are Victorian glass vases.  Either hand painted or transfer printed.
 
At auction I would expect them to fetch in the region of £50-100.
 
If you wish to consign them for auction, please bring them in Tuesday to Thursday 10am-4pm.

I bet you are....and these Auctioneers/Valuers are well known in the UK..just google Anita Manning..and you,ll see how big they are...they know what they are talking about...but i,m glad i was able to help....
