Found another item when visiting my grandma, can anyone tell me something about this piece?

we need to know what material it has been cast in...how heavy is it, are there any marks on the base,..you may want to do what we call "the hot needle test"...to determine if its resin...this can be done on an area..that is not seen, i.e. the base,..overall dimensions will help,

They did make reproductions of pieces but I think this design was theirs.
