vintage grey metal bowl

good morning all,

i seem to remember seeing these when i was younger but now i wonder what kind of metal the bowl is/  live in mn and can tell you it gets cool just sitting in the room--has many bands around the bowl,

also has smaller bowl

use/  can you eat from them or put produce on them to eat/  any idea of age or value/  what metal for sure///

they look like aluminium...and yes you could eat from them, or display fruit, what are the dimensions......

the large one is 10 inches round--the small one is 5 1/2'

60's -- 70's?

Did you post another pic ??  If so it didn`t show up !!  I don`t think that name is the maker of the bowl but still can`t read it on above post !!

you,ll probably find that its the name of the owner of the bowl,....not the maker,.....

The last three letters are ktg i think--plus what do you make of the numbers underneath/

Aluminum bowls!!  Agree must be owner's (at one time).

You can mix with them but Don't cook in them!  They are slightly pitted and the heat will allow aluminum to leech into your foods - not good!
But mixing and using them is perfectly fine.

Use them all them time and used them when chef!

thx all again--i'm thinking they both will look quite smart on top of my pantry...they cleaned up quite nicely and may be in retirement mode

Seems like they came in sets of three,, sm, med, large !! Too lightweight for much except fruit or such !!

We have an aluminium pot.thats so big..you could probably bathe a newborn infant in it...we use it for make Scotch Broth, Kale,.."a Scottish Veggie soup"..made using a ham shank for stock...I also make Borsch..on occasion...this pot has been with me for the last 30 years, it gets used during the winter months,its pitted, scored ,and has the odd dent...but...it won,t be getting scrapped anytime soon.....
