3 plates china made in japan
« on: March 25, 2013, 09:08:34 pm »
i was wondering if anyone could give me a hand with identifying these 3 plates,
i've been searching for a while and found some so called antiques on ebay that look similar to 2 of them but cant find anything that matches

first 3 photos are of the big plate, has made in japan, fine china and the number 207 on the back of it.

the next 4 are from 2 smaller plates that look like leafs.

if anyone can give me a hand it would be greatly appreciated.

Pictures of the backstamp are blurred !! Can you take another pic and post them on this site ??  These look like the decorative plates that were made in the 60`s and 70`s as purely decorative pieces !! The 207 is the pattern number !!  There were many of these made in a lot of different patterns and styles !!  Many were intended as wall hangers !!

Yeah, Japanese copies of European plates, even with an imitated Sevres mark but with Made In Japan added. Post war. Usually companies like Nagoya Potteries or Arnart
