Antique Silver Tray
« on: March 29, 2013, 04:28:30 pm »
Hi all!

I have this antique silver tray and wondering if I could get some help discovering it's age and value.

It is engraved:

D.D. {emblem} S.F.
Anders Christiansen Holk
1889-12 Marts-1929

I imagine it's a piece from 1929? What's the emblem and DD SF? I've attached 3 pics.

Tray is made by Anton Dragsted, Danish silver makers,

Commemorative tray!

Any history on it ?

There was an A C Holk who worked for KLM as a radio operator back then. This could have been a 40 years service present from the company he worked for prior to that.

No history. It's about 5" by 5".

Can you please get a better close up of the emblem on the front?
