Robert Motherwell was an abstract expressionist artist,, is this just a bio of him ??  If so just use google and put his name in to search !!  I think Amazon has a bio,, just not sure what this book is ??

btw in the same auction there is item Bronze pitcher with the inscription: "In Memory of Adrian Winter Gallipoli 1915 - L'Aus Deo.
this is the only pic i have.
but who was Adrian Winter ?

That guy looks like a young Rock Hudson !!   This vase is probably a presentation piece given to a friend ect. as a memorial or keepsake !!

That's a later edition.

You can pick the first edition up for cheaper than $300 anyway

It does,nt always work that way...you are being speculative...in order to make money..you have to be sure that the subject matter...is of interest to others, and that you can sell them what you,ve got...its a buyers market...and you are at their mercy...if i was you, first i,d do a lot of research..to see if similar items are selling...and always look at the end price ..not the asking,
