How old is this rug?

Its around 5'x7'. Previous owner did not have any info. Looks pretty old to me, what do you guys think?

 Number finally came up !! Is the number sewn to the rug or just stapled to it !!  If sewn to it it is likely the style number if stapled to it may have had it cleaned and it is the cleaners receipt number !!  Looks machine done and I would guess 1930`s or so !!

1920s-1930s. The design looks like it mimics tile design from that time.
