Antique or Vintage Enjoy Coke Clock
« on: April 18, 2013, 02:06:28 pm »
Hello,

Here is a large vintage Enjoy Coke Clock. I am curious about the age and worth of this clock before purchasing it to resell it here in my store. I haven't had any luck as far as searching Ebay for one like it. Thank you for your help!!  :)

Clock is approximately 2 feet tall standing up. Has pull string for the light. Is electric. The whole board lights up when string is pulled and you can see "Coke" all over the board when lit. What does laptop have to do with it?

Thanks Wullie !!  Yes, a straight up view helps !!  From the style looks late 60`s or 70`s but could be later than that !! There were so many different styles made its hard to date the more modern ones !! Not a huge demand for these collector wise,, but some do buy them for home use in man cave, rec room, home theatre ect !!

70s.

I can't imagine that it would be worth more than $20-$30, but I'm not big into coke.

Errrrr, I guess I should say I'm not big into Coke.

I,m sure we all know what you mean...but just in case, there are some who don,t,we will all assume its not this kind............... ................... ................... ................... ..............

"Coke" is a fuel with few impurities and a high carbon content, usually made from coal. It is the solid carbonaceous material derived from destructive distillation of low-ash, low-sulfur bituminous coal. Cokes made from coal are grey, hard, and porous. While coke can be formed naturally, the commonly used form is man-made.....

or is it t,other... ;D

Had an "expert" take a look at it in person...thought I would update you guys. His answer: "Looks like 70's - 80's used in diners and restaurants. Can probably sell for 325" Thanks guys

definitely worth more than $20-$30. Picture doesn't do it justice, as far as the actual size and condition. Thanks though.

2007????

Of course we ARE aware that the antique/collectibles market has all but collapsed since then?

Around here I'd plan on $20 - $30.
