This is the last set of items that I inherited, and so far my favorite!
The first one is an old pocket watch, that STILL WORKS hahahaha. I searched for a long time on the internet but couldn't find anything about it. It has some hand cut inscriptions on the inside. One of which I can't read with the date 1888, and another with my Great grandfathers name and the date 1906. There are a few other unreadable scratchings with other numbers that don't look like dates. On the otherside it says CELTIC GRAND PRIX.
I found it in this wooden box, but have no clue if it is original to the piece
If you look closely you can see some of the scratched numbers and words.
This is a chest a lot of the goodies I have were found in. It has a strange fish lock that goes on it.
SORRY FOR THE POOR PICTURES
And I like to think I saved the best for last.
This looks like a medal for an Agriculture Award. The box kinda looks like it is silver on top. I removed my Great grand fathers name, and the date of the award. I found a little bit about it, but it is all in spanish and my spanish is a little rusty. Here are a couple things I found about it. This is an expired spanish auction.
http://www.todocoleccion.net/medalla-merito-agricola-oro-brillantes-zafiros-rubies~x30938739Here is a website with the different medals. Mine falls into the 1939-1977, but It doesn't match any of the ones on the page, so I am assuming it is the missing one "Gran Cruz"
http://www.coleccionesmilitares.com/medallas/texto/agricola.htmI am pretty sure the gems are real. At least the ones on top are, not sure about the little ones around the shield. Also it is surprisingly heavy when you pick it up.
Here it is
Also came with a mini counterpart/button
