Star of david large brass plate.

Hi all. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify a large brass plate a friend of mine dug up in her garden. Ive been searching online for a little while but cannot find anything quite like this. I have no idea of the age of the plate so i thought i would ask here as someone may know something about it. The plate itself is 23 3/4 inches in diameter and the hammer and chisel work is pretty messy like it was rushed. It has a star of David in the middle and writing around the edges in a language i cannot identify. I will upload pictures as they will describe the plate a lot better than i can  . I would really appreciate any help anyone can give me. Thanks for reading.
