Metal and marcasite studded chainlink purse ...

I have found many chainlink purses but none studded with marcasite .. i have spent a week looking for similar ones but alas yet again nothing grrrr ... Any help appreciated .. Why do i always find things i can find jack about ... :/... Thanx in advance...

That it was bigwull , Rather annoying when you cant find nothing ... only success i had was with the brooch and thats not 100% as maker still not sure about ... but its nice to think i can pick other brains lol..

Only one i could find was L.E , lawrence emanuel ... but he did more belt buckles amongst other things ,,, i dont want to clean it too much as been told it can devalue it ?

This purse was also known as a CHATELAINE chain mail purse...could date from late Victorian...through to Edwardian...and even as far as early Art Deco,had it been hallmarked silver, then would have been quite valuable....ie its only white matal, then value around $40

Yh i seen the ones valued at that price range ... But none with marcasite , Although i know its not a expensive stone , Its more about the history too .. Always good to have a tale to tell with it
