it just backs up what i,ve been saying,this desk was made and the safe was fitted at the time of making...not fitted afterwards...how else would carpenter know how big to make the hole for the safe to sit in,.if there was no safe....furthermore, it won,t just be sitting there, it would serve no purpose, if the safe was,nt fixed in...and as the outer door of the desk is attached to the safe door...then that tells us..they were made for each other..
