And?.....less than £60 over here, and for that you get it bead/sand blasted, then they give it a coat of metal primer....then you can spray it with Smooth Hammerite....and it,ll last for the next 15/20 years....total cost, less than $120....no mess no cussing...just a nice looking garden ..glider....

I totally agree with you big wull, have found someone here to do the whole job for $150, including picking it up and delivering it back, I'll be excited to send pics when it is done.  I was totally shocked when someone said it was not old--does anyone have an idea as these screws sure don't look like something they would use today

It isn`t old !! May be 70`s or later !! That's tubular steel !! Hollow in middle I am pretty sure !!  Wrought iron would be solid, forged and bent by hand or machine !!

I saw that Woolie Bullie!  I don't totally agree...but if I had a face to face inspection I could differentiate!

I have chairs/glider that have what look like tubular pieces...but they are solid.  So...I will have to bow to indifferent on that.

Somehow you managed to squeak though this one....but it is a GLIDER:)

WELL!!....if you google glider.....what do you get first....and as a matter of interest...in your neck of the woods...what is a "Slider"

Depends where you are in Texas....near the coast they are raw oysters on the half shell.  Most restaurants these days sell sliders as mini hamburgers!  :)

I personally like the old Slip-N-Slide!!!!!
