Page of London paint box

Hello im wanting to know more about this paint box, I cannot seem to find the same one on the internet


It has an image on the front that seems to be Aladdin ,not the Disney version

It is approx 30cm long and 20cm high

it is tin and thin

it is made by page of London and made in England

I saved paint boxes for years. When I decided to sell them, I'd put out 50 or so at a time. I soon found out that I was one of the few that had any interest in them.

They were childrens paintboxes. Litho on metal with numerous small blocks or tablets of paint inside - the idea was you painted whatever was on the cover of the tin.

Robin Hood, Aladdin, Toys, Ships etc
